Fine view from the room but breakfast felt too basic for the price.

Good breakfast buffet. Attentive and friendly staff. The mattress of the bed is great, you sleep wonderfully, especially after the walks! The room was well sized as well as the bathroom was spacious. It is very well located, in front of the Alcazar and there are parking lots nearby, spending the day costs 15E. The detail in the room of the water heater for the infusions was very good.
There are no sockets in the room, furniture in my room was old, cleaning was very good, although the first day they spent doing the room. bathroom, was too big, lacked a shelf to store our toiletries. buffet is a little bit expensive, I would improve the bread, cutting bar should be more cooked, even if you go to toast it, they were almost half done. caffeine and machine milk, lot of foam and taste is not very good.

Perfect spot for exploring!
The location was unbeatable for wandering around the city. Our room had a small balcony, a nice touch. The breakfast spread had something for everyone, and they offered in-room breakfast too!

hotel has a very good location, close to Zocodover square and in the middle of the tourist area. There are many places in the surroundings to eat with a menu of the day and many shops. There is a taxi stand a few meters from the hotel, is very much appreciated. hotel is a bit old, rooms are fine. cleaning is correct and bed is very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one facing a narrow street, was super quiet. staff is very correct and friendly at all times and cleaning lady is also very nice. truth is that everything was fine and since I went there on weekdays it was very good value for money. Without a doubt I would come back.
To say the least, there was a little intermittent noise coming from the ceiling next to the door, but it wasn't there all the time, I don't know what it was, maybe from the air duct, I don't know. It didn't bother me, which is why I didn't say anything, but maybe someone else would be bothered and it would be nice to have it checked out.

The super friendly staff, the location a dream, very comfortable beds, beautiful hotel with lots of charm. Very good price
Furniture noises early in the morning, you have to respect the rest until 12 o'clock on the weekend I think instead of cleaning or tidying up that furniture that sounds awful. I didn't hear it so much but two couples who traveled with me complained about that and noise of an engine outside the room that I imagine would be the air apparatus. Breakfast is much better, those scrambled eggs and inedible bacon. One girl alone for the whole room ran from the kitchen to the living room all the time, missing everything and waiting for me to come out to ask for napkins, cutlery, more tomato. You can't have one person alone for the kitchen and whole living room. In fact, we arrived we had to sit at a dirty and already used table. pity because the girl always with a smile attending all the requests, she lacked hands.

The room was a disapoointment, being smaller than a monk's cell, and with annoying noise from the streets below. I expected to be shown to a better room due to my, uh, special status, but no such luck. Just when i thought i could write a good review, the uncomfortable bed ruined it for me. Absoluteley absurd!

location, comfort of the bed and treatment of the staff at check-in.
We didn't like the room service. Their schedule is until 22:30h, call at 22:20h and without even saying what you were going to order, a lady with bad manners told me that it was not possible because, while preparing the order, she exceeded the end time of that service. I filed a complaint at the reception, and I was able to place the order even though it was a disaster because, firstly; they gave no options to my partner's lactose allergy and, secondly; instead of two sandwiches they brought one. When we claimed it, they denied us the possibility of starting it up. The hotel staff did not follow up on the complaint; nor did they apologize or care if we received the order . When everything is going well and there are no problems, everything is perfect, the important thing is to know how to act when faced with incidents, this is what makes the difference and in this case, I don't mark it.

The location is excellent for exploring the old town and all amenities are nearby. Be ready to ask for extra towels upon arrival.

The Hotel is located in an exceptional area, right next to the Alcazar and a few minutes from Plaza Zocodover. If what makes a hotel great is its staff, it would deserve a 10. From the receptionists (especially Fernando, who at all times attended to our requests, despite having to deal with the entry of a considerable group of guests) to the cleaning staff. The breakfast was very acceptable, with variety and always replenishing articles.
The hotel is decorated with "airs" Castilian. Which is a good thing because it blends in with the surroundings. But this tradition, even without being lost, must be adapted to the new times. It is necessary a quick remodeling since many of its elements begin to deteriorate; and to bring to the 21st century this type of accommodation, with improvements for example, in the bathroom. One of the rooms assigned to us had a bathtub/jacuzzi, designed in such a way that it was even dangerous to get out of it because it was high, being accessed by small steps. Or a carpet which, although comfortable, required more thorough cleaning. Small details that would make the stay in this beautiful hotel much more pleasant.

Great location and friendly staff.
No WiFi internet and internet access not free. ALso beds are always twin rather than double in Spain !

The hotel enjoys a prime spot right in front of the Alcazar. Breakfast is served in a fine cellar setting with lovely arches and a selection that suits both hearty and light appetites.
Some rooms experience a constant hum that can disrupt sleep, which I found bothersome. The bathrooms seem to be showing their age, and the air conditioning struggles to keep up on particularly warm nights, leaning more towards ineffective. The keys are finicky. I had to reactivate mine daily, which became a nuisance for a three-night stay. Lastly, I noticed that the soundproofing could use some work, as noises from other rooms and the street creep in, especially if you're at the front.

Location of hotel next to the Alcazar was fantastic. View from balcony was superb.
Hotel was, in my opinion, not of a four star standard. Hotel was adequate in all respects but room was "tired" and needed brought up to modern standards.
